At Ruby Wood, our journey began with a simple love for working with natural materials and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. What started as a small, hands-on passion project quickly grew into something more — a way to connect people with their gardens through meaningful, sustainable design.

We specialize in creating handmade wooden plaques, planters, garden decor and so much more, hand crafted using traditional techniques and a thoughtful eye for detail. Every piece is carved, painted, and varnished by hand, using minimal machinery where necessary ensuring each item is not only functional, but full of character. We do not use any CNC machines and never plan to go down that route. We believe it will take away the character of handcrafted products.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We carefully select responsibly sourced timber and use eco-conscious finishes to make sure our products support a greener way of living. Built to last and made with love, our products are designed to weather the seasons — just like the gardens they can live in.

You’ll find us at local markets and events across Cornwall and Devon, where we love meeting fellow enthusiasts and hearing your ideas. While we don’t currently sell through retail shops, our online store is always open, and we’re always happy to chat or take custom requests.
